Valentine’s for Everyone @ Fareshare, SE16.  10-12 & 14 February

Something for the more socially conscious, food charity FareShare is collaborating with Forgotten Feast to produce a unique 3 course banquet with a difference – all the food used will be surplus! Using delicious but unwanted foods that would otherwise end up in landfill, ingredients used can include everything from pheasant to parsnip.  FareShare’s London warehouse has been spruced up by Secret Garden Party designer Alex Geldenhuis, with communal seating and food served to share.  Tickets are £40, with money raised going to the charity. www.valentinesforeveryone.eventbrite.co.uk


Chocolate Tasting @ The Mount Street Deli, W1. 14 February

The Deli’s Valentine’s Day event is a more informal (and less expensive!) alternative to the ‘dinner a deux’.  They will be hosting a chocolate tasting with Philipp Kauffman from acclaimed fair trade chocolate producers, Original Beans.  Guests will learn about chocolate and of course get to try plenty of it too!  Tickets are £10.
