Scent, Seduction & Cocktails with The Cocktail Lovers @ Les Senteurs, W1, 14 February

Forget schmaltzy roses and bland dinner for twos and join The Cocktail Lovers for an evening of multi-sensory drinks that is sure to tickle more than the tastebuds!  Experts from boutique perfumery, Les Senteurs, will take guests through a romance inspired scent journey that is designed reawaken the senses and hopefully get them in the ‘mood’; if that’s not enough, The Cocktail Lovers will be serving tempting cocktails to complement each scent, making for a Valentine’s date with a difference.  £25/person or £45/couple, including Champagne, cocktails, nibbles and goody bag.

Create your own love potion with Tony Conigliaro & Beefeater 24, N1. 18 February

Famed for his unique molecular concoctions, including the Flintlock (served in a flavoured lipstick-stained glass with a dramatic explosion), Tony is working with Beefeater 24 to offer a spirited Valentine’s date.  Guests will

Valentine’s for Everyone @ Fareshare, SE16.  10-12 & 14 February

Something for the more socially conscious, food charity FareShare is collaborating with Forgotten Feast to produce a unique 3 course banquet with a difference – all the food used will be surplus! Using delicious but unwanted foods that would otherwise end up in landfill, ingredients used can include everything from pheasant to parsnip.  FareShare’s London warehouse has been spruced up by Secret Garden Party designer Alex Geldenhuis, with communal seating and food served to share.  Tickets are £40, with money raised going to the charity.

Chocolate Tasting @ The Mount Street Deli, W1. 14 February

The Deli’s Valentine’s Day event is a more informal (and less expensive!) alternative to the ‘dinner a deux’.  They will be hosting a chocolate tasting with Philipp Kauffman from acclaimed fair trade chocolate producers, Original Beans.  Guests will learn about chocolate and of course get to try plenty of it too!  Tickets are £10. Starts at 6pm.

Ultimate Valentine’s Indulgence @ The Gun, E14. 14 February

For the ultimate declaration of love, The Gun has created a romantic private package that will leave the lucky lady wanting for nothing.  Priced at £395/couple, the evening comprises of everything from a romantic boat ride from Central London to the riverside restaurant, drinks overlooking The Thames, a dedicated waiter, a 5-course meal, roses and a private film viewing of the rom-com of your choice!
